About The Position

As an Associate Service Repair Technician, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and certification of safety equipment, ensuring our customers remain compliant and safe in their operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded, hands-on professional looking to build a career in the safety industry. You may also travel to customer locations.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent required
• 1 year required, 2 years preferred of experience in a service technician, maintenance, or mechanical role
• 1 year required, 2 years preferred of service and repair experience
• 1 year required, 2 years preferred of customer service experience
• Technical aptitude with strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail required
• Ability to calibrate precise measurements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods

Nice To Haves

• Experience with safety equipment (gas detection, fall protection, or respiratory) is an asset
• Certificate or license in WHMIS, TDG or forklift operations preferred

Responsibilities

• Follow service and repair procedure log
• Enter rental and repair orders in distribution system
• Expedite orders and follow up with customers relating to service orders
• Conduct in-house or on-site DOP testing
• Conduct respiratory fit testing service either in-house or at customer’s site
