The Service Porter plays an essential role in keeping the guest experience consistent at Volvo Cars Seattle, a brand built on safety, thoughtful design, and a genuine respect for people. Requirements

  • No prior automotive experience required -- we will train the right person from day one
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record -- required
  • Able to remain on your feet and stay active throughout your shift -- this is a physical, on-the-go role
  • Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in doing the job right every time
  • Moves with a sense of urgency -- the service drive counts on you to keep things flowing
  • Friendly and professional with guests -- a warm, composed presence on the drive matters

Responsibilities

  • Move and stage vehicles between lot locations, service bays, and the service drive -- safely, efficiently, and with care for every vehicle in your hands
  • Greet guests on the service drive with a friendly, professional presence -- you're often the first face they see
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of vehicles in the service department -- every car returned to a guest should leave in better condition than it arrived
  • Keep the service drive, lot, and common areas clean, organized, and ready for guests at all times
  • Assist service advisors and technicians with vehicle movement and staging to keep the workflow moving without delays
  • Perform vehicle wash and detail duties as needed to support delivery readiness
  • Support the service team with general tasks that keep the department operating at full speed
