About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Service Porter to join the Kendall Ford Lincoln team in Anchorage. This entry-level, full-time position offers training and opportunities for growth within the automotive industry, whether in service or sales. The role involves moving and parking service vehicles, providing customer service, assisting with vehicle check-in, retrieving parts, operating snow removal equipment, washing vehicles, vacuuming interiors, and performing janitorial tasks to maintain the service drive.

Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, primarily involving standing and walking, with frequent bending and twisting to enter/exit vehicles. Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds and rare lifting up to 50 pounds is required. Requirements

• Capacity to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission
• A good, clean driving record
• Valid driver license

Responsibilities

• Moving and parking service vehicles as needed
• Communicating and providing superior customer service to service clients
• Directing service customers to the appropriate advisor
• Obtaining basic information from vehicles to assist with check in process
• Retrieving parts and supplies
• Operating snow removal equipment
• Washing exterior of vehicles
• Vacuuming interiors of vehicles
• Janitorial tasks to keep service drive clean and presentable
