About The Position

Kendall Auto Group is seeking a Service Porter to join the Anchorage Toyota Team. This is an entry-level, full-time hourly position offering training and career growth opportunities within the automotive industry. The role involves ensuring vehicles are moved and parked correctly, providing customer service, assisting with vehicle check-in, retrieving parts, operating snow removal equipment, washing vehicles, vacuuming interiors, and maintaining the cleanliness of the service drive. The position requires working both indoors and outdoors, with a majority of the time spent standing or walking, and occasional bending and twisting. Lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally, and rarely up to 50 pounds, is also required.

Requirements

• Capacity to operate a wide variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans, including hybrid models
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission
• Good, clean driving record
• Valid driver license

Responsibilities

• Moving and parking service vehicles
• Communicating and providing superior customer service to service clients
• Directing service customers to the appropriate advisor
• Obtaining basic information from vehicles to assist with check-in process
• Retrieving parts and supplies
• Operating snow removal equipment
• Washing exterior of vehicles
• Vacuuming interiors of vehicles
• Janitorial tasks to keep service drive clean and presentable
