About The Position
Western Express is seeking a motivated individual for a hands-on role in a transportation and logistics setting. This position requires a detail-oriented approach, punctuality, and reliability. The role involves maintaining cleanliness standards, moving equipment, conducting inspections, and performing inventory checks. Due to the collaborative nature of the work environment and the need for spontaneous idea generation and execution, in-person, in-office attendance is an essential function of this position.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Detail-oriented approach to tasks and responsibilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
- Physically fit with good eyesight.
- Valid driver's license required.
Responsibilities
- Complete trailer sanitation to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Move equipment around the yard safely and efficiently.
- Notify management of any major repairs needed for the facility.
- Store equipment in designated safe areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of incoming and outgoing equipment.
- Perform inventory checks to ensure accurate equipment records.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility campus.
