About The Position

The Service Porter is a visible and important part of the guest experience at Lexus of Fremont, a well-established Bay Area Lexus store serving a loyal, high-expectation ownership community in the East Bay. This entry-level role requires reliability, care for guests' vehicles, and a professional demeanor. The Service Porter is responsible for moving vehicles within the service department, delivering and retrieving loaner vehicles, keeping the service lane and lot organized, supporting service advisors and technicians, and assisting with basic vehicle preparation. This position is crucial for maintaining the high standards expected of a luxury brand.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• No automotive experience required

Responsibilities

• Move vehicles throughout the service department -- pulling cars into service bays, returning vehicles to guests, and repositioning inventory across the lot as directed
• Deliver and retrieve loaner and courtesy vehicles for guests -- representing Lexus of Fremont's hospitality standard in every handoff
• Keep the service lane and lot organized and navigable throughout the day
• Support service advisors and technicians with vehicle movement during peak hours and busy periods
• Assist with basic vehicle prep as directed -- fueling, washing, and staging vehicles for service or delivery
• Inspect vehicles during movement and report any visible damage or concerns to the appropriate team member immediately
