About The Position

The Service Porter performs trailer sanitation and safely moves, positions, parks, and stores equipment throughout the yard. The role includes inspecting incoming and outgoing equipment, tracking equipment inventories and locations, reporting significant facility repair or maintenance concerns, and maintaining clean, organized campus facilities. In-person, in-office attendance is an essential function of this position.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to meet physical demands, including walking, standing, and performing outdoor duties as required.
Adequate vision to safely inspect, move, and position equipment.
Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong time-management skills and a commitment to punctuality and attendance.
Ability to attend in person, as in-office attendance is an essential function of the position.

Responsibilities

Perform trailer sanitation according to company standards and procedures.
Move and position equipment throughout the yard safely and efficiently.
Identify and report major facility repairs or maintenance concerns to management.
Ensure equipment is parked and stored in designated, safe areas.
Inspect incoming and outgoing equipment for damage, defects, or maintenance needs.
Maintain accurate equipment inventories and assist with tracking equipment locations.
Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and overall condition of campus facilities.
