About The Position

We have served our community with dedication and integrity, and we are looking to add a reliable Service Porter to our team. We are seeking an outgoing and dependable Service Porter who will greet customers in our service department and assist with vehicle handling and maintenance of the lot area. This role requires a professional attitude, a clean driving record, and the ability to work in various conditions including non-climate-controlled environments.

Requirements

Valid and unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record
Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic computer and internet proficiency
Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
Physical ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy items as needed

Responsibilities

Greet customers entering the service area with a friendly and professional demeanor
Answer customer questions and direct them to the appropriate personnel
Install protective covers such as seat covers, steering wheel covers, and floor mats on vehicles brought in for service
Move customer vehicles safely around the lot and service areas
Deliver keys and repair orders to Service Advisors after parking vehicles
Retrieve vehicles for customers upon pickup, assist them, and thank them for their business
Follow all safety and security procedures diligently
Participate in staff meetings, training, and educational sessions as required
Assist with cleaning and custodial duties in the shop and lot areas
Perform other duties as assigned
