About The Position

Southern Air of Baton Rouge is seeking a self-motivated and positive individual to join their growing plumbing team. This role involves conducting inspections, troubleshooting, and performing repairs for residential and small commercial plumbing and drain issues. The Service Plumber will install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with codes and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities also include educating customers on best practices, maintaining detailed service records, and adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• 1-5 Years Plumbing experience preferred
• Plumbing degree, license, or apprenticeship
• Current plumbing certification as required by state
• Familiarity with diagnosis and repair of residential plumbing issues
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Service Plumbing: 4 years (Required)
• Ability to commute/relocate: Baton Rouge, LA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections to diagnose residential and small commercial plumbing and drain issues
• Execute effective troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes of plumbing issues
• Perform timely and accurate repairs to resolve plumbing and drain issues
• Provide comprehensive plumbing services for residential customers
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, equipment, and fixtures
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations
• Interact professionally and honestly with customers to help them understand plumbing concerns and solutions
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain detailed records of services, including documenting pictures of before and after services have been completed
• Educate customers on best practices for their plumbing systems
• Adhere to company safety protocols and procedures
• Attend appropriate safety training as required by the company
