About The Position

Jenkins Plumbing is seeking an experienced Service Plumber to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and skilled at diagnosing, repairing, and installing residential plumbing systems. This position requires excellent troubleshooting abilities, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of residential service plumbing experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, fixtures, and repair techniques.
  • Ability to diagnose plumbing issues quickly and recommend effective solutions.
  • Experience installing and servicing water heaters, fixtures, drain systems, and water supply lines.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work in various environments.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plumbing schematics is a plus.
  • Tankless water heater experience.
  • Drain cleaning and sewer camera inspection experience.
  • Leak detection experience.
  • Experience using tablets or mobile field service software.
  • Cross-connection or backflow certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential plumbing systems and fixtures.
  • Perform service calls involving water heaters, toilets, faucets, garbage disposals, drain systems, water lines, sewer lines, and other plumbing components.
  • Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures, piping, water heaters, and related equipment.
  • Accurately identify plumbing issues and explain repair options to customers in a professional manner.
  • Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a clean and respectful work environment.
  • Complete service tickets, estimates, invoices, and required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Operate company vehicles safely and maintain tools, equipment, and inventory.
  • Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes, company standards, and safety regulations.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and report inventory needs.
  • Work collaboratively with dispatch, management, and fellow team members to ensure efficient scheduling and customer satisfaction.
