About The Position
Triangle Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical is seeking an experienced Residential Service Plumber to join their growing plumbing division. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing residential plumbing systems while providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, delivering quality workmanship, and building trust with homeowners, contributing to Triangle's reputation for dependable service and professionalism.
Requirements
- Previous residential plumbing service experience required.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience servicing and installing residential plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Knowledge of residential plumbing codes, materials, and best practices.
- Ability to explain technical information clearly and professionally to homeowners.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Nice To Haves
- Journeyman plumbing license or equivalent experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Perform service, maintenance, and installation of water heaters, water softeners, fixtures, faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, sump pumps, ejector pumps, and other residential plumbing equipment.
- Identify plumbing issues and provide homeowners with repair and replacement options.
- Perform drain and water system diagnostics as needed.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable plumbing codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations.
- Accurately document work performed and complete service reports using company software.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while respecting customers' homes.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and provide exceptional customer service throughout every service call.
- Collaborate with dispatch and team members to complete jobs efficiently and exceed customer expectations.
- Participate in ongoing technical and safety training to stay current with industry best practices.
