About The Position

The Service Outside Sales representative is responsible for growing service sales in all service areas, Service, Body Shop, and Mobile Service for Villa Rica and Cartersville Areas. This role involves making daily customer contacts in person, setting up appointments by phone or e-mail, and developing relationships with key customers to grow their business with the company. The representative will act as a liaison between the customer and service departments to resolve issues, work with department personnel to meet customer expectations, and follow up on quality issues, collaborating with the Service Manager to address complaints. The position requires learning and understanding the Service SOP, tracking customer communication using Decisiv, and maintaining knowledge of Elite Support. Training in Service Advisor and Elite support is also required through the Aftermarket Resource Center. The role includes attending department meetings and completing weekly call sheets.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Previous experience with heavy duty trucks, equipment, or construction.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Basic understanding of Windows and Microsoft Office.
  • Good computer skills and ability to learn new software as needed.

  • Maintain knowledge of Elite Support.
  • Maintain Service Advisor and Elite support training in the Aftermarket Resource Center.
  • Attend all department meetings.
  • Complete weekly call sheets.
