What You'll Do as a Service Order Dispatcher: Receive, record, and distribute work orders to service crews upon customers’ requests for service on articles or utilities purchases from wholesale or retail establishment or utility company. Record information, such as name, address, article to be repaired, or service to be rendered. Prepare work order and distribute to service crew. Schedule service call and dispatch service crew. Call or write customer to ensure satisfactory performance of service. Keep record of service calls and work orders. Assist within ArMA cases as needed when directed by Shift Lead, Quality Manager, GFEBs Lead, or Project Manager. Assist with emails orders and walk-ins as needed when directed by Shift Lead, Quality Manager, GFEBs Lead, or Project Manager. Assist within IW28 or any additional areas of order creation as directed by Shift Lead, Quality Manager, GFEBs Lead, or Project Manager. May dispatch orders and relay messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments, using radio telephone equipment. Greet visitors and take incoming phone calls, fax, and radio messages and promptly take care of requests or relay messages to the appropriate person.
