About The Position

The Service Ops Support Analyst is responsible for collaborating with others to define process and product features and enhancements through the creation of cross-functional projects. This includes analysis and documentation of the impact to clients/participants resulting from product changes.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of software development and/or business management as normally obtained through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science/engineering, Business, or a related degree.
  • The knowledge, skill and ability to create detailed functional requirements for software development projects as described as normally obtained through a minimum of 3 or more years progressively responsible business analysis experience.
  • Incumbents must have the ability to use initiative and work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal and communication skills and an exceptional ability to work well with others to effectively interact with internal and external customers and department staff, as described above.
  • Must possess the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Outstanding organizational skills, follow-up skills, focus and attention to detail.
  • Requires a high level of understanding of the business and functional transactions to perform business analysis as described. Positions typically require specialized business skills, knowledge and abilities to provide the business context to technology.
  • The ability to build relationships and collaborate on a cross-functional team comprised of diverse personalities, skill sets, and levels of experience is required.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, high energy environment that requires flexibility and the capacity to quickly learn and assimilate information/new skills is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Performs complex analysis of department operations / tools for forecasting, performance and service level agreements
  • Conducts analysis to provide insight into current and historical trends in department extending into division level reporting. Provides ad hoc reporting to leadership team.
  • Provides support and assistance in the establishment, evaluation and administration of Key Performance Indicators.
  • Develops and performs ad hoc analysis to support new processes, policies and revenue generation initiatives.
  • Assists in the development of department budgets and/or the administration of the organization's budget as directed.
  • Participates in due diligence in connection with new business and corporate acquisition opportunities.
  • Understanding of financial statements and cash flows, assist with financial / SOX / SOC audits
