This Service Operations Manager role in Beltsville, MD, involves successfully driving local service business operations, promoting a positive culture focused on safety and quality, and achieving customer satisfaction and profitable business results.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant maintenance expertise.
  • Supervisory experience ideally leading a union represented workforce.
  • Associates’ degree in a related field or additional years of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage your own local service operations.
  • Implement and monitor safety guidelines.
  • Provide learning opportunities for your team.
  • Effectively manage a schedule and your team’s overall performance.
  • Collaborate with all levels of the organization to achieve business goals.
  • Develop the personnel ensuring their motivation, continuous development and achievement against regional targets.
  • Coach the technical-oriented Supervisors of today, to be customer-, service- and result-oriented Line Supervisors.
  • Responsible for the selection of personnel, training and continuous qualification of the employees.
  • Deal with complaints as well as supervision of customer satisfaction.
  • Create business plans including budget planning and budget control for the individual Service.
  • Successfully drive the service business operations for your territory while working in collaboration with your customer and peers.
  • Promote a positive culture surrounded by accomplishing safety and quality goals to achieve customer satisfaction and profitable business results.
