Requirements
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities
- A proven history of improving customer satisfaction and department performance
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience managing dealership financial performance and KPIs
- A commitment to employee development and retention
- High integrity and professionalism
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- Subaru experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the service department.
- Recruit, hire, mentor, and develop technicians, advisors, and support staff.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience that builds loyalty and referrals.
- Improve technician productivity, efficiency, and overall department performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators including labor sales, gross profit, effective labor rate, technician efficiency, proficiency, warranty performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure repair quality and compliance with Subaru standards.
- Partner with the Parts and Sales departments to provide a seamless ownership experience.
- Handle customer concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Help create a workplace where employees enjoy coming to work every day.
