About The Position

Linder Turf & Tractor is committed to putting our customers first. Our parent company has been selling and servicing equipment since 1953. In 2018, we began our turf and tractor division, and since then, we've grown to 7 Kubota/Deutz Fahr branches in 3 states. This role is responsible for the efficient, profitable, and safe operation of the service department.

Requirements

  • A dynamic Service Manager with a proven track record in customer service
  • Proficient in use of computers
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Works well under pressure and manages stressful situations with ease
  • Organized, efficient, and results-driven
  • Strong customer service and salesmanship skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • General knowledge of maintenance, repair, parts department functions
  • Strong industry knowledge
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all services and workspaces in shop
  • Process work orders in a timely manner daily
  • Submit warranty claims daily
  • Delegate and direct service tasks; monitor the progress of all current and pending projects
  • Consistently deliver positive customer service experience to customers by offering knowledge, advice, and answering questions and concerns
  • Act as a source of information for all service, inventory, and product-knowledge concerns and work process matters
  • Manage and update invoices
  • Process new orders and track inventory
  • Communicate and maintain good relations with manufacturing representatives
  • Keep a safe and clean workspace at all times
  • Monitor employee work and provide frequent progress reports in order to improve employee satisfaction and efficiency
  • Follow and abide by all industry standards, regulations, and laws
  • Help train new employees in company procedures, including safety and work processes
  • Stay up to date on industry standards and any new innovations, materials, tools and/or processes that can benefit the company
  • Monitor workflow & time
  • Other tasks as requested by management
