About The Position

Harley-Davidson is seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to lead and manage all operations of the Service Department. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and service quality, develop and mentor service team members to meet performance goals, and monitor department profitability and performance metrics. This role involves collaborating with Parts and Sales Departments to optimize workflow and customer experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in motorcycle, automotive, or powersports service management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, service processes, and manufacturer systems.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills with a focus on motivation and accountability.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in dealership management software (Talon preferred) and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read and interpret service manuals, technical bulletins, and warranty policies.
  • Valid driver’s license and motorcycle endorsement required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the dealership and service area for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to push, pull, and maneuver motorcycles safely (with assistance).
  • Ability to communicate clearly in person, by phone, and electronically.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.

  • Talon dealership management software experience preferred.
