About The Position
Vermeer All Roads in Chesapeake, VA is searching for a customer-focused professional to make an impact as a Service Manager. This position will manage the service department, control costs, create strong customer relationships and achieve sales/profit objectives. Additionally, the Service Manager will address customer concerns and ensure all service work is performed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous shop management experience
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude with the ability to motivate employees
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently
Nice To Haves
- Prior mechanic/technician experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Monitor the service department’s performance
- Continually observe and mentor Service Writers to enforce good habits and ensure exceptional customer service
- Communicate and dispatch service work to technicians
- Maintain and build customer relationships
- Work successfully with Service Writers and Technicians within the Service Department
- Perform all other duties as assigned
