About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead a busy, customer-focused service department within a growing automotive dealership group in Solano County. Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of automotive dealership management experience.
  • Strong understanding of dealership fixed operations.
  • Proven record of increasing gross profit, CSI, technician efficiency, and departmental performance.
  • Experience managing multiple advisors and technicians.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of dealership management systems (DealerTrack experience preferred).
  • Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully complete all pre-employment requirements consistent with applicable law.

  • DealerTrack experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead all daily service department operations.
  • Drive profitability through effective labor sales, technician productivity, and expense management.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Service Advisors, Technicians, Dispatch, and support staff.
  • Monitor and improve CSI, manufacturer metrics, and online reputation.
  • Ensure efficient scheduling, workflow, and shop capacity utilization.
  • Review financial statements and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards, warranty requirements, OSHA regulations, and California labor laws.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain top service talent.
  • Build strong relationships with customers while resolving escalated concerns professionally.
  • Collaborate with Parts and Sales departments to maximize dealership performance.
