About The Position

At Texas Roadhouse, the Service Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all Front of House daily operations and managing Front of House employees. This position ensures the delivery of Legendary Food and Legendary Service to guests, driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction. The Service Manager enforces compliance with all employment policies, maintains restaurant cleanliness, and ensures guest safety. Key responsibilities include providing and directing Front of House training, managing employee performance through evaluations, coaching, and discipline, and handling liquor orders, cost control, and compliance with liquor laws. The role also involves assisting in the development of key employees, assistant managers, and hourly staff, as well as participating in the hiring process for Front of House employees. The Service Manager directs employee work, sets schedules, assigns tasks, and fosters a fun, safe environment aligned with core values and operational goals, often implementing contests and incentives. Understanding and practicing safe food handling procedures are also essential. Responsibilities

  • Driving sales, steps of service, and guest satisfaction
  • In conjunction with all management, enforcing compliance with all employment policies and overseeing cleanliness of restaurant and safety of guests at all times
  • Providing or directing all Front of House training
  • Managing performance of Front of House employees, including conducting performance evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • Managing liquor orders and controlling liquor costs
  • Enforcing applicable liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines
  • Assisting with the development of all key employees, assistant managers, and hourly employees by providing daily feedback on performance during one-on-ones
  • Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring or recommending the hiring of Front of House employees
  • Directing work for employees including setting hours and weekly schedules and assigning tasks before, during, and after open hours of the restaurant
  • Creating a fun, safe environment by following our core values and operational goals, and implementing contests, theme nights, and creating incentives for the staff
  • Understanding, managing, and practicing safe food handling procedures
