About The Position

The Central Eastern Service Territory Manager will be responsible for increasing sales and market share for ASGCO Manufactured Products Division within their assigned territory. This role involves managing and developing distribution networks, calling on end-users to ensure customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for product solutions and service sales. The position requires performing conveyor inspections, audits, and maintenance training, as well as assisting with product installations. The Service Manager will also contribute to product improvement and new product identification, and support marketing and manufacturing departments. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining an excellent safety record and timely submission of reports.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in the mechanics of conveyors in a wide range of industrial markets such as: aggregate, cement, bulk shipping terminals, recycling, hard rock mining, asphalt and/or coal-fired power.
  • Great customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable, organized, detailed and focused
  • Computer skills including spreadsheet applications and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Conveyor manufacturing industry sales experience preferred
  • 3-7 years outside sales experience preferred in manufacturing
  • Must be able to successfully pass a post offer drug test and background check

Responsibilities

  • Increase sales and market share for all of ASGCO Manufactured Products Division sales through our existing and new distribution channels as well as OEM's and National Accounts in the territory.
  • Manage, build and train our distributions networks, by making joint sales calls and provide assistance on installations with our distributor install teams.
  • Call on target end-users to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction, service and sales are being achieved.
  • Perform sales meeting and presentations for current and new distributors and OEM's.
  • Work with customers to identify, quote, engineer and close product solution and service sales.
  • Perform conveyor inspections / surveys / audits and maintenance training at end-user customer plant locations.
  • Assist with customer product installations to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Look to improve our current products and look for new products for us to promote and improve upon.
  • Assist with marketing (trade shows, literature, website, and advertisements) and manufacturing departments.
  • Assist with calling current and new OEM's and AE firms.
  • Maintain an excellent safety record.
  • Turn in weekly schedules, call reports and expense reports on a timely basis.
