Requirements

  • CFAA License (required).
  • Demonstrated experience with fire alarm and life safety systems.
  • Prior experience with monitoring systems, emergency lighting systems, and security systems.
  • Prior supervisory or management experience in a technical environment.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with sprinkler systems.
  • Additional fire and life safety certifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing technologies and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee testing, inspection, verification, servicing, and repair of fire alarm and life safety systems.
  • Ensure all service work complies with local and national fire, life safety, and security codes.
  • Review work orders, building plans, specifications, and installation manuals.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship, system performance, and compliance.
  • Provide technical guidance for troubleshooting, repairs, and system modifications.
  • Lead, supervise, train, and evaluate service technicians.
  • Assign workloads, schedule service calls, and monitor productivity.
  • Identify training needs and support certification and skills development.
  • Enforce company safety policies and procedures.
  • Serve as an escalation point for customer service and technical issues.
  • Ensure customer concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Support system demonstrations and customer training as required.
  • Maintain accurate service records, including inspections, deficiencies, repairs, and follow-up actions.
  • Prepare service and compliance reports as required.
  • Support internal audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to service processes and performance.
