About The Position

Momentum Solar is a premier residential solar provider with offices throughout the U.S. Founded in 2009, Momentum has grown exponentially over the past decade. We implement the entire solar process to ensure a seamless transition to renewable energy. The Solar Service Manager will be in charge of all the Electricians, O&M and foreman in their area. Will work with the install staff to coordinate scheduling. Mainly working in the office, but also some work outside doing spot checks on the sight. Delegating crews to different service sights and overseeing all of the servicing process.

Requirements

• Knowledge of management and PV solar installation, residential electric.
• Time management, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Panel upgrades to residential homes.
• Comfortable working in an office setting and some standing and working on rooftops.
• Undergo background and drug & alcohol screening.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in PV installations, residential electric, general construction, or carpentry preferred.
• Basic understanding/experience with electrical wiring of AC and DC systems preferred.
• Solar experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire service team.
• Manage and be in charge of scheduling the crews.
• Working with the install staff to help coordinate scheduling.
• Go out to different sights and do spot checks, to make sure everything is running smoothly.
• Attend training sessions on new products, service methodology, and safety.
