About The Position

Rutherford Management Company is seeking a full-time Service Manager to lead the maintenance operations at Sandpiper Village Apartments, a well-established 210-unit apartment community. The Service Manager will oversee the daily maintenance operations for the community while leading a team of skilled maintenance professionals. Their focus will be on preventative maintenance, resident satisfaction, work order completion, vendor coordination, safety, and maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the property. They will also coach and develop their team while ensuring maintenance requests are completed efficiently and to Rutherford's quality standards.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Apartment Service Manager or Maintenance Supervisor
Previous multifamily property management maintenance experience
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation, including weekends for maintenance emergencies
Background Check and Drug Screen Required

Nice To Haves

Experience leading a maintenance team of two or more employees preferred
HVAC Certification preferred

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the onsite maintenance team.
Schedule and prioritize daily maintenance operations.
Build and maintain a preventative maintenance program.
Ensure apartments are turned efficiently and ready for new residents.
Respond to maintenance emergencies and participate in the rotating on-call schedule.
