About The Position

Berman Star Nissan is looking for a Service Manager to join their team in Niles, IL. This is a commission-based role with a potential annual earning of $125,000, based on Total Shop GP, ROs, CSI, and ELR. The Service Manager will be responsible for planning, training, leading, and monitoring the performance of service advisors, technicians, and support staff to achieve 100% customer satisfaction and revenue growth aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience as a Dealership Service Manager
  • Proven leadership ability to mentor and train team members
  • Proficient time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of automotive service operations and profitability strategies
  • Must have Dealership Service Management Experience

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily service department operations to ensure efficiency and profitability
  • Lead and motivate a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and customer retention
  • Train and mentor team members to improve performance and service quality
  • Ensure all service work meets manufacturer standards and customer expectations
  • Hire and develop service advisors and technicians
  • Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to resolve issues
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies to meet goals
