The Service Manager is responsible for leading the branch service department and overseeing technicians and mechanics who work in the shop and the field. The technicians perform a variety of functions, including maintaining the Company’s rental fleet, performing scheduled maintenance or warranty work, diagnosing and repairing customer equipment. The Service Manager will work with the Branch and Parts Managers to coordinate cost effective reliable service for our customers and to ensure that safety, responsiveness and professionalism are prioritized. The Service Department Manager will be responsible for maintaining workflow, including scheduling repairs, assigning mechanics, and setting priorities, while effectively managing work orders and timely completion of repairs. Managers will also be responsible for driving to job and customer sites to meet with potential buyers and customers. The Service Manager is ultimately responsible for revenue and gross margin growth, and profitable operations. Anderson Corporate functions (HR, Sales Support, Credit) will support Service Manager to facilitate achievement of results.
