About The Position
John Jones Auto Group is expanding! We’re seeking an experienced Service Manager with Ford and/or Chrysler dealership experience to join our growing team. We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our growing service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, ASE certification, and proven leadership skills. In this role, you’ll oversee daily service operations, manage a team of technicians and advisors, ensure high-quality repairs, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. A focus on efficiency, profitability, and team development is essential.
Requirements
- Experienced Service Manager with Ford and/or Chrysler dealership experience
- Strong background in automotive repair
- ASE certification
- Proven leadership skills
- Technical automotive knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to manage others
- Organized and friendly personality
Nice To Haves
- Dealership experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
- Serve as a liaison between technicians and customers
- Take ownership of customers’ experience by carrying out additional assignments, enabling the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer
- Manage and hire technicians and service advisors
- Interview and make new hires
- Distribute work between technicians
- Prioritize required services
- Ensure customers have a positive dealership experience
- Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether via phone or in person, to ensure the customer does not get mishandled
- Spend quality time building relationships with the customers
