About The Position

Empire Truck Sales, a leading Freightliner and Western Star dealership, is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead their service team and ensure exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will be a motivated leader with experience in heavy truck or automotive service, strong communication skills, and a commitment to operational excellence. This role involves leading and supporting the service team, managing workflow and department profitability, providing technical guidance, and fostering strong customer relationships.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience preferred in a Shop Foreman, Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, or similar leadership role within a heavy truck, automotive, fleet maintenance, transportation, equipment, or related mechanical service environment.
• Experience leading technicians and managing repair, maintenance, or service operations in a technical, industrial, or dealership setting.
• Experience managing technicians in a dealership, fleet, or service environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability with Microsoft Office and dealership management systems
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced diesel service department environment
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction

Nice To Haves

• Retail dealership service experience preferred
• Experience as a diesel mechanic and/or DTNA (Freightliner or Western Star) knowledge is a plus
