About The Position

A nationally recognized provider of HVAC, Controls, and Data Center Solutions is seeking an experienced Service Manager (BAS Controls) to lead its building automation service division in Denver. This organization is a long-standing industry leader with 15+ offices and more than 300 employees nationwide. Requirements

  • Experience in leading and overseeing daily operations for a BAS/BMS field service team
  • Ability to coordinate with clients, PMs, and internal teams
  • Skill in assigning and dispatching service technicians
  • Experience in tracking service calls, maintaining dispatch logs, and managing KPIs
  • Experience as escalation support for complex technical issues
  • Experience in recruiting, training, mentoring, and developing field technicians
  • Experience in implementing SOPs to improve service delivery, efficiency, and consistency
  • Experience in supporting BAS/BMS system startup, testing, and commissioning activities
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve network-level and controller-level issues
  • Ability to edit wire sheet logic and revise programming sequences
  • Ability to document commissioning results and verify sequence of operations
  • Experience in providing end-user and customer training for BAS systems

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily operations for the BAS/BMS field service team
  • Coordinate with clients, PMs, and internal teams to close out service requests
  • Assign and dispatch BAS service technicians based on workload and skill levels
  • Track service calls, maintain accurate dispatch logs, and manage KPIs
  • Serve as escalation support for complex technical issues
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop field technicians
  • Implement SOPs to improve service delivery, efficiency, and consistency
  • Support BAS/BMS system startup, testing, and commissioning activities
  • Diagnose and resolve network-level and controller-level issues
  • Edit wire sheet logic and revise programming sequences when required
  • Document commissioning results and verify sequence of operations
  • Provide end-user and customer training for BAS systems
