About The Position

As a Service Make-Ready Technician, you are the maestro of move-in magic, orchestrating the transformation of vacant apartment homes into pristine havens ready to welcome new residents. You are the artist behind the scenes, wielding paintbrushes, tools, and cleaning supplies to create a symphony of sparkling surfaces, functional fixtures, and inviting ambiance. Your meticulous attention to detail and passion for perfection ensure that every apartment is a masterpiece, leaving a lasting impression on our valued residents. You are the Appearance Specialist! Transform vacant apartment homes into move-in ready havens, meticulously cleaning, repairing, and preparing each unit to exceed resident expectations. Assist in maintaining the overall appearance of the community, ensuring that grounds, common areas, and amenities are clean, inviting, and well-maintained. Collaborate seamlessly with the Service Team to address any necessary repairs or replacements, ensuring that every apartment is in pristine condition. You are the Technical Support! Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including patching drywall, painting, replacing light bulbs, and fixing leaky faucets, ensuring that every detail is addressed with precision. Conduct thorough inspections of vacant units, ensuring that all appliances, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units are in perfect working order.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of hands-on general maintenance experience, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting skills.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety rules and regulations.
  • Excellent customer service and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to maintenance procedures.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with no major infractions in the last 12 months.
