About The Position

The Service & Maintenance Technician maintains facilities and store equipment across division locations. The role includes light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, cleaning, and general repairs to structures, interiors, shelving, and cabinets. The technician troubleshoots, repairs, cleans, and performs preventive maintenance on store equipment, and contacts service vendors for repairs and materials. The position documents and communicates work completed, irregularities, and ongoing needs, and participates in training on existing and new equipment. Duties may change with or without advance notice.

Requirements

• Three to five years of experience in A/C, refrigeration, or general maintenance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities and to work independently.
• Manual dexterity to operate equipment and work in confined spaces.
• Ability to use a hand/electric cart, power tools, hand tools, and a ladder; crouching and/or crawling may be required.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to drive a company vehicle to different store locations throughout the division.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities through light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
• Provide general maintenance at sites, including painting, cleaning, and building or repairing structures, interiors, shelving, and cabinets.
• Troubleshoot, repair, clean, and perform preventive maintenance on store equipment.
• Contact service vendors to facilitate repairs and obtain materials.
• Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs to maintain continuity among work teams.
• Participate in training for existing and new equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Drive a company vehicle to different store locations throughout the division.
