Requirements

  • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent credential.
  • Exhibit superior skills in both verbal and written communication.
  • Work capably with minimal supervision in a team-oriented setting.
  • Able to interpret and execute complex written technical guidelines.
  • Effectively track materials and project hours while meeting set deadlines.
  • Physically capable of assisting with lifts up to 50 lbs.
  • Maintain a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery, ideally including ground support equipment.
  • Carry out equipment inspections and evaluations, ensuring all actions are properly documented.
  • Utilize manufacturer test protocols and maintenance manuals for all service work.
  • Operate electrical diagnostic tools like ammeters and multimeters, along with computers and iPads.
  • Handle specialized tools including torque wrenches, cut-off wheels, jacks and jackstands, impact guns, rivet guns, presses, and grinders.
  • Diagnose and service mechanical, electrical, hydraulic (including hydraulic jacks), automotive-style, and air pressurization equipment.
  • Fix issues in diesel, gas, and LP-powered units, as well as automotive-style machinery and small engines.
  • Work with both DC and AC (single and three-phase) voltage systems while following schematics.
  • Manage inventory and warehousing duties as needed.
  • Maintain a tidy workspace and ensure client facilities are cleaned after repairs.
  • Operate forklifts and box trucks following necessary training or certification.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Provide exceptional and courteous customer support with meticulous attention to detail, maintaining a clean and orderly environment when performing on-site service at customer locations.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team or work independently to meet tight deadlines.
  • Commit to safety regulations and travel when required for service calls.
  • Handle brand-new equipment with care to prevent any damage or cosmetic defects.
