About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining facilities by performing light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks. The technician will provide general maintenance support, including painting, building/repairing structures, interiors, shelving, and cabinets, as well as cleaning and other basic maintenance. They will also maintain store equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and performing preventive maintenance. The position involves facilitating repairs by contacting service vendors for materials, maintaining continuity among work teams through documentation and communication, and participating in training for existing and new equipment. Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary will also be part of the role, contributing to team effort.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have the manual dexterity to operate equipment, work in confined spaces, able to use hand/electric cart, able to use power and hand tools, required crouching and/or crawling, able to use a ladder, and must be able to lift up 80 lbs.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple, changing priorities and ability to work independently.
• 3-5 years experience in the A/C, Refrigeration or General Maintenance field.
• Requires driving a company vehicle to different store locations throughout the division which include but are not limited to the geographic areas listed above.

• Will be required to participate in training for existing and new equipment.
• Other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
