About The Position

The Service Lot Porter is responsible for moving and cleaning vehicles, performing various tasks and errands for the dealership, and maintaining the car lot clean and orderly. This role requires adherence to company standards, maintaining an organized and safe work area, and participating in required training. The Porter must accurately record all hours worked and follow all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrating the company's Core Values and complying with company policies and procedures are essential. The position involves regular interaction with employees from various departments and some contact with customers.

Requirements

Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
GED or High School Diploma.
Automotive Field of Study/Work Experience.
Up to 3 years of work experience desired.
Valid Driver’s License.
Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system.
Ability to understand and follow instructions.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Must be able to lift up to (50) pounds.
Work includes frequent movement around the dealership facilities and the outdoor car lot and movement in and out of cars.
Regularly required to talk or hear.
Frequently required to stand; walk; and sit.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations.
