About The Position

Campers Inn RV is seeking a Lot Porter/Forklift Driver responsible for driving and towing RVs, operating a forklift (location-dependent), and maintaining the appearance of RV lots. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Valid Driver’s license and good driving record is required
  • Ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Pride of workmanship and follow-through are essential
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team
  • Ability to drive a tractor and other towing vehicles
  • Ability to navigate risks associated with working around machines, tools, and RVs
  • Ability to move RVs of various sizes as needed
  • Ability to organize various physical tasks through adjusting, climbing ladders, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending
  • Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of one year detailing experience is preferred
  • Experience in RV or automotive dealership environment is preferred
  • Forklift experience/certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Transport RV’s to and from service bays, stores, gas stations, repair facilities, and locations
  • Keeps new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving RV's as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
  • Make a daily inspection of showroom and service entrance doors and wash as necessary
  • Keep units in a “sale-ready” condition
  • Maintain Dealership premises as directed by Supervisor/Manager
  • Assist with pre-delivery inspections
  • Fill vehicles with gas
