About The Position

The Service Lot Attendant/Porter moves and parks client vehicles to support smooth, efficient traffic flow and improve client convenience and satisfaction. This role offers an opportunity to begin a career in retail automotive and become familiar with vehicles on the lot. Employees in this position are paid a base hourly wage at the applicable minimum wage rate up to $22.00 per hour. Requirements

Ability to follow directions and instructions.
Maintain a valid California driver’s license and a clean driving record; immediately inform management of any change in license status.
Positive attitude and high-energy personality.
Professional appearance and work ethic.
Outstanding communication skills.
Successfully pass employment screening, including a criminal background check, motor vehicle records review, Social Security number verification, and a drug test at a certified testing facility.

Responsibilities

Retrieve clients’ vehicles when notified by management.
Inspect each vehicle to be delivered for lot damage that may have occurred during or before delivery.
Place buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
Keep new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
Clean the driveway and sidewalks.
Drive vehicles to and from the service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
Make key tags for vehicles.
Provide excellent customer service.
Perform other duties as assigned.
