About The Position

Community Integrated Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate health and social care professional for a Service Leader role in Worcester. This role involves managing a team of Advanced Support Workers across a new block of bungalows for seven people and several new single-person tenancies. The aim is to help people live their best lives possible by driving performance, promoting reflective practice, setting service direction, fostering a positive culture, and ensuring effective resourcing. The individuals supported will have diverse needs including autism, complex learning disabilities, mental health issues, forensic backgrounds, or a risk of offending, and may exhibit challenging or risky behaviors. The Service Leader will need extensive experience supporting individuals with complex needs, particularly in understanding deliberate self-harm and risk management. A background in trauma/psychologically informed care and/or an awareness of attachment theory is preferable. Experience with implementing Positive Behavioural Support strategies and coaching teams to reduce challenging behaviors and restrictive interventions is also desired. The ideal candidate will be calm and confident in crisis situations, support their teams through challenges, lead reflective practice and de-briefs, and engage in supervision. Experience supporting transitions from in-patient settings and working with multi-disciplinary teams and clinicians is desirable. Basic IT system proficiency is required, with training available. A professional qualification in Health and Social Care (Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ Level 3/Care Management Level 3) is necessary. Requirements
