About The Position

Berman Auto Group is building the largest Kia dealership in Illinois, with our brand-new, state-of-the-art Chicago facility projected to be complete in 2027. We are ramping up and looking to add a Service Lane Manager to the team! This role will involve planning, training, leading, and monitoring the performance of service advisors, service technicians, and support staff to promote 100% customer satisfaction and revenue growth in line with targeted business and financial objectives. Initially, you will work from our Kia dealership in Lincolnwood while helping to build the future of Berman Kia, with the move to the new Chicago facility planned for 2027. The new facility will feature over 30 service bays and will have a union-represented shop.

Requirements

Experience as Service Lane Manager
Proven leadership ability to mentor and train team members
Proficient time management and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of automotive service operations and profitability strategies

Responsibilities

Oversee daily service department operations to ensure efficiency and profitability
Lead and motivate a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff
Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and customer retention
Train and mentor team members to improve performance and service quality
Ensure all service work meets manufacturer standards and customer expectations
Hire and develop service advisors and technicians
Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to resolve issues
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies to meet goals
