About The Position

Looking for a way to kick-start your career in the car business? We are hiring a Service Lane Greeter to join our team at our brand-new dealership, Genesis of Downers Grove. We are seeking a friendly, outgoing individual to fill a Greeter position. In this role, you will interact with customers as they arrive in the service department, answering basic questions they may have and directing them to the appropriate Service Advisor. You will also inform our guests about our current service promotions, which will encourage them to continue servicing their vehicle with us. This is a customer service role rather than a service advisor position, but our team does rely on you to provide a welcoming environment and exceptional experience to each potential service client.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Positive and hardworking personality
• Basic computer knowledge
• Friendly and positive attitude

Nice To Haves

• An understanding of vehicles and their service needs a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive
• Provide information on our current services and promotions

• Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment

• Notify service manager or service advisor about any potential issues
