About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring vehicles are properly fueled, fluids are topped off, and interiors are cleaned according to contract specifications. The attendant will also be responsible for maintaining the fuel island, shop area, and lot, ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations. Additionally, the role involves assisting maintenance staff and management as needed, and ensuring vehicle emergency equipment is stocked and functional.

Requirements

Must be over 21 years of age.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
Able to work without direct supervision.
Must be able to work in, and outdoors in all weather conditions.
Customer service skills.
Ability to handle basic maintenance, repairs and cleaning.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods during shift.
Employment contingent upon passing pre-employment drug and alcohol screen.
Contingent upon receiving a favorable background check.
Must pass a physical examination.

Responsibilities

Ensure all vehicles are completely fueled, fluids topped, and ready for service.
Clean vehicle interiors according to contract specifications.
Ensure vehicle emergency equipment (fire extinguisher, body-fluid kit, first aid kit) is fully stocked and functional.
Park vehicles according to the facility parking plan.
Document and communicate any fleet damage to the manager.
Maintain and keep the fuel island clean, containing and reporting any spills immediately to the manager.
Maintain the work area according to all OSHA and EPA regulations.
Clean, mop, and dispose of trash in the shop area daily.
Clean and care for landscaping and the lot as needed.
Post notices in vehicles as required by the client.
Assist maintenance staff and manager as needed.
