Nice To Haves
- Enrollment in or willingness to participate in an electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
- Technical school coursework in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field preferred.
- No prior industrial electrical experience required.
- Previous experience in maintenance, manufacturing, construction, mechanical trades, or technical environments preferred.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist experienced Industrial Electricians with the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical systems supporting food production operations.
- Gain hands-on training and practical experience in industrial electrical maintenance while working within a customer facility.
- Work under the direction of a Journeyman Electrician, Lead Electrician, Foreman, or Site Supervisor to safely learn electrical maintenance practices, industrial controls, food production equipment support, and customer service expectations.
- Progressively develop technical skills while supporting the reliable operation of production and facility equipment.
- Represent Upchurch Services by demonstrating professionalism, a strong safety mindset, a willingness to learn, and positive working relationships with customer personnel and fellow team members.
