About The Position

Industrial Electricians are sought for a four-week installation project at an active industrial facility in Ashland, Virginia. The role involves installing electrical infrastructure, connecting components, and coordinating installation activities with pipefitting crews. This is a full-time, temporary project on first shift. Pay starts at $28.00 per hour, with higher pay available based on experience, up to $32.00 per hour. Strong performers may be considered for a contract-to-hire opportunity after project completion.

Requirements

• Industrial electrical installation experience.
• Ability to read and follow electrical drawings, layouts, and work instructions.
• Familiarity with conduit installation, wire routing, terminations, junction boxes, and disconnects.
• Experience using electrical hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with pipefitters and other trades in an industrial environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, and terminate industrial wiring, conduit, and electrical components.
• Fit and install conduit, cable supports, junction boxes, disconnects, and related electrical equipment.
• Follow electrical drawings, installation layouts, and work instructions to ensure accurate placement and routing.
• Use hand and power tools to complete electrical installation tasks.
• Coordinate work with pipefitters installing process piping to avoid conflicts and maintain project progress.
• Follow safety procedures when working around active plant operations and other trades.
• Complete assigned installation work within project timelines while maintaining safe and organized work areas.
