About The Position

This role involves HVAC installation work, requiring the individual to work under supervision to gain knowledge of products and processes. The position emphasizes safety awareness, active learning, good communication skills for customer service, and teamwork.

Requirements

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning; or 5 years equivalent experience.
Ability to comprehend simple written and vocal instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages, as well as draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Valid driver's license.
Regularly required to stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
Regularly required to talk and hear.
Frequently required to walk, use hands and fingers to reach, feel, grasp and manipulate; and be able to reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally required to sit.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities include the ability to see well up close and at a distance, the ability to distinguish colors, good peripheral vision and depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and heavy equipment.
Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock (high voltage) and vibration.
Occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
