About The Position

Lighthouse Buick GMC Inc. is looking for an individual with a great attitude, good driving record, positive work ethic, and strong customer service skills who likes meeting new people, and doesn't mind getting some steps logged in a day (approx. 10,000). The Service Greeter will offer a great greeting to our Service Department customers as they bring in their vehicles. This role extends Lighthouse hospitality, prepares cars for the technicians, drives customers to their destination, drives vehicles between Lighthouse locations, and cashes out customers when they leave, providing a fantastic farewell. This is an active job, Service greeters can easily log 10-15,000 steps in a full day shift. While greeter duties are primary, this position does cross-train with the parts department and may pick up/drop off parts as well. Available shifts are 5-hour and 9.5-hour shifts, Monday – Friday. Currently, all afternoon shifts are open, as well as all day Friday. There is also opportunity to pick up hours and shifts as a substitute.

Requirements

Valid Driver's License.
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Excellent customer service skills.
Great attitude
Good driving record

Responsibilities

Greet the customer with a smile and a warm welcome.
Escort the customer to the right person.
Tag and bag the vehicle.
Make sure all information is on the tags.
Park the vehicle in the correct location.
Help customer to their destination.
Cashier the customer, walk them to their vehicle, and thank them for coming in when they leave.
Assist the parts department in pickup and drop-off of parts.
Other Misc. Tasks assisting the Service Department.
