About The Position

WTI Commercial Façade Foreman is responsible for the oversite and performance of safety, efficiency, and quality of the WTI Commercial Building Envelope business. Safety is our number one priority and will be embedded into every discussion, meeting and project. As the clear and established leader of the WTI crew, the Service Foreman is focused on safety, crew management and efficient execution of all WTI Projects assigned to them. Travel will be required. It is the responsibility of the WTI Service Foreman to deliver timely and the highest quality service to all our WTI customers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years progressive experience in a similar role to include leading teams and technical solutions, training, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Must be thoroughly familiar with standard façade construction including, masonry, EIFS, Stucco, Curtainwall, metal panels, concrete, plaster and other forms of facade systems and how to properly repair them using Tremco CPG Materials.
  • 10 Hour OSHA Card

Nice To Haves

  • 30 Hour OSHA Card (not required but will be provided once hired)
  • Equipment operator certifications: Lifts, Swing Stages, Scaffolding
  • Effective training/education of others and proper/appropriate communication

Responsibilities

  • Actively administers and enforces Company safety policy and program to minimize accidents affecting employees, the public, and property.
  • Conducts daily onsite safety briefs prior to the start of the WTI project with all onsite project personnel.
  • Inspects and ensures safety of surroundings, equipment and tools and identifies and discusses any safety concerns.
  • Completes the Daily Hazard Analysis form and submits it to Supervisors.
  • Ensures all project communication is completed prior to the start of any WTI project.
  • Efficient project management to include managing crew start and end times, production rates, ensuring tools and materials are available to safely and efficiently completing the assigned project.
  • Completes the project per the scope or work, design and specification of contract & engineering documents.
  • Completes an end of day and/or end of project walk through to ensure quality repairs and address any items prior to leaving the job site.
  • Supervises, directs, and coordinates the scheduling and execution of projects in assigned areas.
  • Manages field personnel, including, but not limited to, recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, and retaining the quality and number of production personnel needed to meet operating demands.
  • Ensures that all WTI Field Labor will have a professional appearance and customer interaction while completing services for a customer.
  • Responsible for the tracking and monitoring project inventory.
  • Maintains highest quality on-site customer relations in projecting positive image.
  • Has knowledge/understanding and assures assigned projects comply with all governmental rules and regulations affecting work sites and employees, i.e. OSHA, DOT, EEO/Affirmative Action, EPA, Wage and Hour, etc.
  • Manages, monitors and documents performance of WTI Commercial Field Labor and takes appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee and work-related issues.
  • Contributes to operations by supplying accurate and timely job information, including daily job logs, job file documentation, and compiling information for billing the customer.
  • Provides management with earliest possible notification of real and potential job problems.
  • Accepts responsibility for the care, custody, and purchasing of company equipment, material, tools, and other assets as assigned by the WTI Commercial Supervisor.
  • Trains employees in proper material and equipment usage, maintenance, and storage.
  • Coordinates and monitors performance of on-site subcontractors, where appropriate.
  • Performs any other duty and/or project as required or assigned by the WTI Supervisor and/or Commercial Business Manager.
  • Maintains ethical business conduct.
