Requirements

High School diploma or GED with associated experience, calculated as two (2) years of relevant work experience for each year of academic study.
Proficiency in schematic interpretation, robotics, electrical and blueprints reading.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting aptitude.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; customer service mentality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team; ability to follow instructions and adhere to quality and safety policies and practices.

Nice To Haves

Experience with HMI, PLCs, and robots preferred.
Current or prior JR Automation experience, or experience in the automation industry is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Ability to discuss, diagnose & repair operational and process problems as reported by the customer.
Troubleshoot, repair and maintenance of robots, control devices, mechanical units, transfer devices and peripheral equipment.
Ability to respond to service calls/activities.
Thorough documentation of each customer and incident using case reporting system.
Self-directed to follow up with customers and internal stakeholders.
Communicate with all stakeholders (Employees, managers, and customers) to ensure that expectations are met.
Actively propagates JR culture within engineering and promotes our capabilities.
Learn new equipment regularly and support customers with a variety of skill levels remotely.
Assist with documentation and “support guides” of recurrent issues.
