This role involves troubleshooting and modifying PLC programs for machine automation, updating operator interfaces, supporting retrofits and repairs, identifying obsolete components, suggesting design improvements, integrating third-party equipment, and performing advanced diagnostics and testing. The position requires travel to customer facilities for troubleshooting, retrofits, and repairs, as well as performing repair, maintenance, or SLA services on equipment. The ideal candidate will be flexible to support customer projects with potential short notice and off-schedule days, stay updated on industry changes, and support customers outside of normal working hours as needed. The role emphasizes positive and professional customer interaction.
