Requirements

Minimum high school diploma/GED and two years of experience in the electrical field.
Journeyman Electrical Certificate
Strong working knowledge of job site safety as well as ability to complete a company specific safety orientation.
Must have a good understanding of the National Electric Codes.
High standard of integrity and professionalism.
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations of workplace safety.
Driver's License (Required)
Ability to Relocate: Columbia, SC : Relocate before starting work (Required)

Nice To Haves

commercial electrical construction: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair commercial electrical systems, ensuring safety and functionality.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, lighting, and fixtures in commercial settings.
Perform inspections and corrective maintenance on circuit breakers, transformers, and electrical panels.
Follow national electrical codes and state/local regulations for all work.
Track repairs, installations, and maintenance in trade software.
Communicate with clients, explain issues, recommend solutions, and provide informed system performance advice.
