Coordinates service dispatching, inventory, billing, payroll and productivity to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and an efficient, profitable department. This role involves professionally receiving and processing customer calls, accurately entering information into the computer system, and scheduling service appointments. The Service Dispatcher will also schedule technicians for routine tune-ups and maintenance, coordinate major repairs or installations with the Service Manager, and communicate with field technicians regarding job assignments and status updates. Additionally, the role includes generating service invoices, reconciling technician time, managing the service contract program, assisting with parts inventory control, and coordinating the Gas Check program.
